Bridgestone Revo A/T
Bought set of Bridgsestone Revo's.
I have been told out here in desert mountain ranch country they really are gaining ground over other brands for reliability and durability. Friends have told me off road sidewall protection is very good. On the ranch it's absolutely necessary.
Anyone running these tires?

I had a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's on a 2000 Ford Excursion that I owned prior to my Mega Cab. They are the best tires that I ever owned. Wet, dry and snow traction is fantastic. They are also made in a way that the tire has the same feel and traction for the life of the tire. If you go to a place like Tire Rack and do comparisons, you will see that they are rated very high in every category. I plan on putting a set on my Mega Cab as soon as I can afford them.

I have had a set on my truck for about 14k miles. They're wearing pretty well rotating them every 6k. Just wish they made them in a 295. Had no problem on the ranch in NM crossing creeks and washboard dirt roads. Highway ride is nice and quiet. If I was sticking with the stock size I would buy them again. Will be getting the Toyo open country mt 295's next.

Thanks fellas.
I was about to go the Toyo Open Country route but was advised I would do better with the Revos. He sells both.
I run stock tires pulling big goosenecks which has worked fine. I'm in rough country most of the time.

I have gone through 2 sets on my 2nd gen. As others have stated they are probably the best tire I have ever run. The traction is great in most conditions. I had problems in deep mud with them and is the only reason I switched. To a certain degree I am sorry I did. My only reason for switching to a more aggresive tire was the mud issue that I have on our property. Again the revos were great everywhere except deep mud for me. I may very well switch back from my current toyo m55's when they wear out. The m55s are very good as well so far but too noisy for me. The revos I got 55k and 60k out of each set respectively.

Given the rough country I have to change tires every 20K. They're rank by then.
Nearest town 100 miles away in open country and no cel phones make early replacement cheap insurance. While mud isn't normal an issure for us sidewall damage is and the Revos (E rated) look pretty stout.
I used to run BFGs' but I prefer the Bridgestones. In my opinion the BFG's higher price differential isn't worth it.

At the recommendation of my son, I am considering putting a set of these on my 96' Red Ram Dodge. Can you guys give me an idea of what they cost??
Thanks.

I have them on my truck and love them.
John you should have taken a look at mine at the track. They grab great but mine do seem to be wearing a little quicker than the original BFG's.

Probably will work out to about $210 a tire. Small outfit in ranch country. In town they'll want a lot more. For that reason, I avoid it whenever possible.
