What to put a brake controler in my 05, need the harness to make this an easy install. Question is .. what brake controler do you all suggest, and the part number for the adapter to wire in the controler? Found a couple on ebay but unsure do to diff. part numbers. Thanks for any help guys.

thanks guys, looked at both of those and looks like they are both great controlers. I think I will go with the Prodigy and the harrness to hook under the dash. Thanks again guys!!

Heres another vote for the Prodigy. I bought one about 7 years ago, after fighting with the POS I bought trying to save a little dough.
My Dad thought I was insane for spending $100 for a BC when his has been working "great" since '76.
The first time he rode with me when towing my trailer changed his mind. He couldn't believe how much nicer the Prodigy worked than his.
He couldn't wait to order his from the net,so he paid $150 at the local RV dealer. And I was "insane" for spending $100 on mine.

Ditto on the Prodigy. However if you will be towing a lot or changing trailers a lot, I would recommend looking at the Maxbrake. Three times as much as the Prodigy but far fewer adjustment and configuration issues if you will be changing trailers often. www.maxbrake.com
