Thanks for the remarks. The new one will be here on Monday, I will take more pictures. This is the first problem that I have had with this truck. All I can say is even with pulling 11,000 lb a intercooler only putting out 22 psi max, the truck still pulled pretty good. It was not the Engine (Cummins) that failed it was everything around it.

Sorry for the delay, traveling home. Here are some pictures:

The verdict is that I did see lower EGT's 75 to 100, faster turbo spool up With regards to the install, it was not a perfect fit. I had to moved two lower brackets of the AC, and had to drill holes of the AC passenger brackets due to not fitting properly.

Overall the Cool Twist inter cooler was a great product over the alternative part for the dealer.

I did purchase the Cool Twist for City Diesel, great customer service.

Heck, on my truck when my intercooler was broke from the POs accident, I JB welded it back together and it held 50psi. for about 2 months before I put the new one in.

I just bought a semi-new stock metal intercooler from a guy who pulled it out of his 07 with less than 5000 miles on it (He went with a Banks). Replaced my POS plastic one and I feel much better. Not bad for $350.

I was at a men's toy convention the other week and they had a huge toy hauler/ motor home deal and it had a Detroit Diesel in it. I looked at the intercooler and it had the same plastic tanks on it. It was larger, but still plastic.
