Black Exhaust Tip?

Looking for a 4" - 5" black exhaust tip in the 12" to 18" range, but don't know what will last. The RBP tips look ok, but not real crazy about the logo, or the price. The MBRP tips don't look too bad, but don't know how long the coating will last. I like the look of the silverline black chrome, but have heard of issues where the coating peels off. I have heard of a black chrome flow-pro tip also, but know nothing about it. Would appreciate any input about quality and looks. Thanks.

My prior boss had the RBP black tip, im not bashing the company by any means but the rivets holding the logo plate rusted out in its first chicago winter, for that price tag you'd think they would be stainless steel just my .02

I have the MBRP and its holding up better than I expected. Only a few small chips but can only see them when right next to it. Aggressive tires but not much offroad, maybe 5k miles since tip installed.

No need to spend big bux. Get some tubing of the size you like, shape it the way you like it, and then have it powdercoated.

Or, spray paint it with high temp BBQ paint. If it chips, simply wipe it down and bomb it again. It sounds cheesy, but it's suprisingly effective.

I had a cheep 12" tip that I painted with brake caliper paint. Worked great. Yes it does chip but I lightly sand and repaint every spring. Literally takes less then 10 minutes.
