The 22.5s are MUCH heavier, but I love them anyway! I think a stock wheel/tire setup is about 75-90lbs. where as the aluminum 22.5 is 185 and the steel is 205 (with 255/70 tires).

D.wiggs what kind of fuel mileage are you getting with all your mods vs stock? I find that with the 6 speed I'm getting several mpg less than my buddies with the auto tranny's, seems I'm turning about 350rpm's more than the auto tranny guys. That's one of the main reasons for swapping to larger diameter tires other than the fact that they look awesome.

At 75mph I'm turning 2350 rpms or so. I'm trying to get down to 2000-2100rpms so it sounds like I'm going to acheive my goal with the new tire size. That seems to be where the 5.9L get's it's best fuel economy. Not that I'm only interested in fuel economy but it sure is nice to look good going down the road and actually benefit from it to.
Thanks for all your input. I'm just trying to search out the best deal and the best quality.

Mario is a very nice guy to deal with. He has the Big Rig Alcoa setup on sale right now. He also has the shaved 22"s. Check with him too before you make a decision.
