Best replacement Battery?

It's almost time to replace the batteries in my '03 3500. I really prefer the optima style dry batteries but not sure if two red tops would be the best for my truck. Waht has anyone else done?

I have the Optima Red Tops. They are great batteries if you can get by the sticker shock. I got tired of my original batteries leaking at the posts. I had to clean the terminals about once a month. This is a no issue with the Optimas. Just that makes them worth the price to me.

Red top is a starting battery and the yellow top is a deep cycle battery!

Get the better 800cca red tops they have a 3 yr. free replacement with a 7 yr prorate warranty.

I use the Optima blue-top (marine) deep-cycle batteries for our service trucks - hands down it's the best battery I've ever used, and takes LOTS of abuse. Best of all - it's not any pricier than the red or yellow optima stuff.
