Best Manual Lumbar Fix

Awhile ago the manual lumbar adjustment broke on the driver's seat of my 06 3500. Nice truck and I wanted a proper fix. To make a long story short I re engineered the weak link (part), and fixed the problem. The OEM Mopar part is weak because it is constructed of injection molded plastic. Even the complete replacement assy from Mopar uses the same "problem" part. My replacement part is made from high strength nylon, and is very strong. The roll pin end is also larger. Works like a dream and is an exact replacement for the OEM part....same function and range of adjustment. Pic on the left is the OEM part. Pic on the right is the nylon replacement.

x2

And what is the part number? Mine is fine but I wouldn't mind some preventative maintenance.

Just post the details here for everyone to see. It would be appreciated by MANY!!

Or if you have a lathe and made them yourself, you could make several of them and sell them here

This part just broke on mine, but the black piece that it threads into also broke; are you making that piece too by chance or know where I might find one?
thanks
