Check out these, I'm getting a set of 305-55-20's on my truck as soon as they come in. E rated and very little road noise.

slaights,
I just put on a set of Toyo Open Country AT 285/75/17 E. I put them on a set of 2008 H2 wheels. You may already know about the H2 wheels but they are 8.5 inches wide and have about an inch less back spacing so bigger tires fit nicely. For '08 they are a new look too.
Wow! This setup is so nice!
I've run the stock 265s, the 315 BFGs and the 285 BFGs and these are by far the best tire yet. I was looking at the 285/70 E Toyos too but the 75s have a much stiffer sidewall. These are real heavy duty tires with a stiff sidewall that will carry 3970 lbs. They ride smooth and quiet on the road. My first trip produced better mileage too.
Check them out.

You've got that right. Its never good to spin at/mt tires, but these things are getting torn to shreds and I'm pretty easy on em. The 200 extra dollars would have been well worth it.

DTR 1st Sergeant
I'd like to get that for my summer tire. For the winter I'm running Interco Trxus MT's. 33/12.50/17 E rated. Really good in ice and snow. Lots o' good siping and aggressive enough for mud and deep snow. Cost was $206 ea.

I've run a lot of truck tires in the past and believe Toyo open country m/t's are second to none. After about 15,000 miles many of those being hard off-road I went in to get them rebalanced. All four tires were less than 3 oz.s off. The tire guys at our local shop RC Offroad Tires said that's not uncommon, and that toyos are their best tire (and one of their most expensive).
