Best After Market Headlight Bulbs

Ok guys, what is the best after market headlight bulbs. I have tried the Nokya Arctic White Pro Halogen 7000K 100/80w bulbs.
1st set low beams quit after a month. Dealer replaced them free. On the second set for about 4 months and now both high beams are out.

Looking for a better long life bulb. Thinking about the Zeon Bulbs. All comments welcome.

Philips Vision Plus are awesome! They are very white, and you WILL notice a difference over stock ones!

I tried PIAA. Definate inmprovement from stock. But didn't last long, only about a year. Then I put in some GE Silverstars. Couldn't tell the differance from the PIAA's, and they were half the price. They were still shining bright after about 3 years.

I'm not impressed with PIAA products. The last 2-3 sets of lights from them didn't last long. I'll never buy any of them again.

I am considering HIR bulbs. I haven't done enough research, but the initial reviews i find are good.

I replaced my head & fog lights with Sylvania SilverStar Ultras and they are much brighter than the stock lamps. There are several grades of SilverStar (like, Plus, Ultra, etc) so you have to check the package - the back has a chart to compare brightness vs. life. The brighter the lamp the shorter the rated life. The Ultras said they are 'guaranteed' for 1 year. I paid about $25 for a pack of two on line - about half of what the local auto parts stored wanted.

Victor,
for an 03 it calls for a 9007 and that site and your 07 calls for a 9008. I saw they are for 9005-9006 only.

I called a couple of dealers today and they said the 07's take the H13's same as the fords.... and I looked at the Nokya's and they are H13's.

Will probably go with the Phillips or the Sylvania's. A lot cheaper.

I like the sylvania silverstars, and for brighter fogs, 9005 bulbs trimmed to fit.

best headllight bulbs for most of our trucks - GE nighthawk, or Philips visonplus.

i might be opening a can of worms here, but check out this link on headlight bulbs . . .
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...lbs/bulbs.html

i too fell into the trap of 'superwhite' bulbs such as PIAA's and SIlverstars - no more for me. i'll be sticking to GE nighthawk or Philips visionplus.

read the ENTIRE article for each link on the page before you dismiss the facts . . .

hope this helps you out.

I don't know what ya'll are talking about lol! I've had Piaa extreme white bulbs for my headlights and foglights for well over a year and they have been exceptional. Yeah granted they were pricey but they are the only ones I've had good luck with. I had several sets of silverstars burn out on my 05 1500 4x4 i had prior to this truck.

Honestly the next time I shop for headlights I will probably steer towards HID lighting.

I have the PIAA extreme white H13's and love them. I also adjusted my lows so that I am not blinding other drivers and now have excellent light output. I don't know why people think the stock headlights have poor output - I love mine. THe PIAA bulbs are the way to go. I had silverstars that burnt out within a year.
