Before (cloth) after (leather) NICE!
Finally bought a leather kit from ALI leather here in Ft Lauderdale. When I say finally I mean I finally gathered the paticence to take apart my old cloth and install the the leather which I knew would take a tremendous amount of paticence. If anyone is going to attempt this I recomend starting on the back seat and center console first as these were the most time consuming, and if you start with the front seats first you will be lulled into thinking this is the easiest thing in the world, Like I did It took 2 hrs for the front seats, from unbolting to reinstalling in the truck. It than took another 4 hrs after taking out the back seat and trying to wrestle the hook and clasp on the leather shut before giving up. Day 2 I had left everything just sitting in the truck overnight and during the day so the leather was nice and warm and had streched alot which made fasting the clasp together easier, the back seat took 3 hrs. Day 3, got the center console seat unbolted and out of the truck, I let the leather sit in the sun while I was doing this. I have about 4 hrs invested in this install just trying to get it straight. Im very pleased with the results and the front seats are alot more confortable now, the leather has probablly 5/8" padding in it as opposed to the cloth which had none and the leather is very thick and tough. I had no accidental rips or tears while doing this. So if anyone is thinking of doing this and is worried, dont be I have no paticence for stuff (details) like this and it came out great.
