I bought duralast golds...as nice as Optima's are I couldn't justify the extra 160 bucks. For another 160 bucks, I'd have almost a whole second set of batteries. With the 8 yr warranty on the duralasts, I didn't even figure this truck would be around before they'd be due for replacement.

My batteries are still the originals and are working great. I keep them connected to a BatteryMinder desulphator when I'm not using the truck (weekdays).
