I'm told my truck was built this week and will arrive in 3-4 weeks.

It was built in Saltillo, Mexico.

Anybody have experience with recent ship times from the Mexico plant from build date?

I'm in N.Y.

MIne was 32 days from order to my hands.....but I am in southern cali. So I could hit Mexico with a rock....but 3 to 4 weeks sounds a bit long to me.

Where are you located?

The Mexican made trucks have to clear customs and that is why they give you a delivery range. If you are up North it usually takes a week to get to the border, a week to clear the entire shipment through customs, and about another week to get it towards Chicago. Then it is all on the truck that drops it at the dealer.

3-4 weeks sounds about right.

 

I ordered it on March 31st so in total it could take 8 weeks, which is what they estimated from the beginning. I ordered on the last day of 0.0% financing so there could have been a lot of orders going to the plant at that time.

When the dealer quoted me ETA's they sounded like they were being conservative, so hopefully it will be here before June.
