Anyone use a lifted rear leaf spring,eliminate blocks?sagging problem on 05 2500

My 2005 ram diesel is starting to sag out in the back.Ive had a 6 inch top gun customz lift kit in the rear since the truck was new.The lift was a severe add a leaf and I think an extra block,i think the truck had a block right from the factory.im wondering if i can buy or have built a custom leaf spring and use no blocks.i spoke to top guns this morning and he suggested maybe an atlas spring but said a spring only lift may be too stiff and harsh.i drive a lot of washboard and dont want too stiff a rear spring.
It always felt like i had a lot of spring wrap when leaving from a dead stop and i would also like to eliminate that.
maybe i should just add air bags? my concern there is i work in the far north and will be subject to extreme low temps,I wondered if the bags will work when it is 30-40 below zero?
any advice appreciated !

Air springs would definitely work for you and give you the adjustability when you need it. Once I know if your truck is a 2WD or 4WD, I can then find the kit that works for your application. We are also running a special rebate on our air spring kits. Learn more here. They even work on lifted trucks but using our Lock-N-Lift spacer kits.

Regarding the extreme temperature conditions, you shouldn't run into any issues. Semi trucks are on the roads 24/7 and most have air springs on them. If you do notice an issue, you could always put antifreeze in the system, like air tool antifreeze or something like that to prevent moisture in the lines and manifold from freezing.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any additional info. Thanks!

We offer our a 57295 LoadLifter 5000 kit and also an 88295 ULTIMATE kit. The ULTIMATE has an internal jounce bumper for the best in ride quality and safety. And with any of our kits, you can add one of our compressor kits. Let me know if you need anything else.

Carli and Thuren suspensions are all spring, no blocks or spacers.
This includes Carli's 6-inch setup.

Getting a spring with a shock valved specifically for it (and your truck) is the best way to go.

If you're thinking about adding airbags to fix a sagging spring(s), you're treating the symptom and not solving the problem. Fix the spring.

^^ What he said!

I never did understand extended blocks on a diesel anyway. He!!, I get enough axle wrap bone stock.

This info is questionable at best...

A Carli or Thuren all-spring lift will ride so much better than stock - and better than any other "lift kit" out there when you step-up to custom-valved shocks - there's simply no comparison at all.

I think the actual lift on my truck is 6in front and 4in rear, and the rear lift is all accomplished with a block,no add a leaf.if i go with Carli or thuren i would need rear springs only not a complete lift kit,not sure if they would sell just the rear springs?

Carli and Thuren will sell individual parts, the complete setup, or anything in between.
