The 3m tape is perfect, it's cheap, easy, effective, and if for some reason you don't like it peel it off.

Get a bed mat, I have the Mopar bed mat and it will protect the bed floor and stop almost any sliding. I have had bed mats in all my pickups for the last 20 years. All of them have outlasted the trucks.

The softer liners, such as Rhino, which is made of 100% polyurethane, are not necessarily "stickier". As a matter of fact wet polyurethane is way more slippery than wet LINE-X, which is a polyurethane/polyurea mix.

While wet polyurethane may be more slippery than wet Line-X, I can tell you wet Rhino isn't. My last truck had it and wet or dry that stuff was grippy as heck. Wet, cold, even snowy.

I think I can get the sprayer to put on a very thin coat and it'll be just fine. Of course, I'll be working closely with the installer before giving the final go ahead.

I purchased a large roll of tool box liner at Advance Auto. I cut two pieces one large and one small to fit each side. I keep it rolled up and stored in the area below the rear seat back. Takes up very little room and works great. Not sure if it would hold up to use by the dog though.

I have a rubber tray that I put on my FFF and it works really well in conjunction with the cargo net I got at the salvage yard.

I picked up one of rear cargo nets and a couple of attachment rings from my buddy the other day. I got the idea from my wifes Grand Cherokee cargo area. Works real good.

I borrowed her cargo tray that I bought for her Jeep from rubbermaid. It is a soft rubber tray about 2'x3' in size and the rubber composition is really soft enough not to slide. It just fits on the passenger side of my FFF. She really doesn't haul anything anyway and maybe she won't miss it.

I think I will pass on alteration of my FFF but if I did I would look at the Duplicolor roll on bed liner. I think it would help, it is in-expensive and easy to apply at home. jim

The stuff in a spray can at car parts stores (auto zone, napa, whatever) works great! YOU control exactly how thick it goes on, and is holding up REALLY well with my 100 pound, sharp edged tool box sitting on it for many miles now.
Its about $7 a can ( I used 2), took about an hour to pull everything out of the truck, spray, and put back together.
The "truck bed liner" stuff, NOT undercoat!

I just use the rubber mats you would line your tool box drawers with and they work awesome.
