I'd like to keep a factory or at least clean appearance.

I think I saw some in Genos, how are these?

I want to know, too. I only have a SLT, but have leather seats. I think that someone told me that the wires are there, but the switch is not. I hope that this is the case, but I doubt it...

i got a post on it somewhere - with diagrams of OEM stuff

the 2006 has a just a wire & power - like a toaster. resistors in the switch determine the setting.

the 2005 has a sensor and a "control" module, with a sensor in the seat & a feedback system.

i have 05 heated seats in my 06...and dunno what to do....

..if i was a smart fella, i would figger out how to separate the back & bottom heaters, to run it on my aching back, and not my sweaty booty.

the wife is freezing to death, she wants her seat to run on "BROIL"
so i gotta do something.

I added seat heaters to my SLT. On my truck the wires are there at the switch but not under the seat. I ordered the factory switches, and am going to tap the heaters on at the switches. If the switches come in today, I will install tonight and post my results.

LOL, sure, what did it get down to 75*F or something like that? room temperature? I just started using my heated seats and it's getting down around 35*F. You guys ever even see that temp down there?
How cold does it get down there in the "winter" ?

I'd say in the Houston Area we get about a week or two of freezing weather a year combined. Then it's in the 50's the most of the time. Gets into the 40's quite a bit and I have a jacket I wear when it gets down below 40 that gets plenty of use.

My current living arraingment has me living about 100 feet from the ocean and everything is wet and windy.

I was going to say something else clever but forgot....
