Anyone have the alarm come on after the door is unlock?
Ever time i have a passenger in the front seat and i stop at a store and they stay in the truck ( wife, daughter) they lock the door, using the passenger door lock button. All doors will lock. I come back out to get in the truck, they unlock the doors using the door lock\unlock button. I open the door and the alarm goes off . The only way to turn it off ( and i have tried all combinations) is to close the door and lock it with the remote key then unlock it with the remote key. Anyone have it happen to them? Don't really want to reflash.

That is how the system is designed. You either have to use the key or unlock the doors with the remote to shut the alarm off. There is a switch on the back of the door lock cylinder that gives it a signal to disarm, as well as the signal from the remote. Otherwise, the computer thinks someone used a slim jim or other tool to hit the power lock button.

Sometimes when I unlock the driver's door with the remote, the alarm will go off when I open the door to get in. Somehow it unlocks the door without disabling the alarm.

There should be a switch on the back of the key lock in the driver's door. I've seen some of them fall off. If you ever have the door panel off, it would be worth looking for! I know some of the newer cars don;t have the switch....you have to use the remote......that may be the case in the newer truck as well. Can't say for sure.
