mb04-
I looked at the thing, because I reeeally wanted one.
The one DC offers is so small my prehistoric eyes can't see it anymore...
I'll get an aftermarket Kenwood with an 8" screen...
or just keep using a laptop with mapping/tracking software.

I'll have a car sterio guy my bro knows do a LCD mount and I'll do all the electronics. In a nutshell I'll basically hide the equivilent of a laptop in the dash.
You just use a small form factor motherboard (mini-ITX) and a DC/DC converter board (no inverter needed).
I have somebody esle make an OE looking mount (retracting) for the LCD touchscreen and wire it myself.

Re:anyone get the nav system??
I did get the Mopar GPS but have not really used it. I was disappointed that none of the streets in my town is on it. Look like Atlanta ia covered. I hope one can get a software upgrade. I will let you know how it goes.
I notice that the CD for the NAV needs to be in the cd drive to opperate. Apparently I need to buy a cd changer to listen to cd's while I have the GPS in use. The mopar one is expencive but on ebay is ones for reasonable prices. They all specify 6 or 10 cd's while my monitor only have buttens for 5 cd's. Any advice?
