Anyone ever hear of Lenz Truck dealership in WI?

I am trading my 2008 Quad Cab for a 2006 Mega Cab. The truck they have seems pretty nice with only 39K on it. Anything i should be aware of? Thanks.

When looking at the truck, just the usual stuff to be aware of... check for accident evidence, lack of maintenance, get the name of the previous owner to call & talk them about it. If you're really interested, put some money down to hold it. Trucks do not last long there.

I bought my truck from there. Very straight forward. Don't go with their aftermarket extended waranty. Get one on your own. That way you can choose who you want to go with. The one I bought from them, that company when bankrupt. Now I'm completely out of that money. Nothing bad towards Lenz since it the extended waranty was through another company. Also if you truck has any mods to it, they really decrease the value of the truck. If it is stock, you should be fine.

They didn't bargin much on the price of the truck, but was able to haggle in a roll-up bed cover, and plastic bedliner for no extra charge with my trade in.

They sell alot of truck across the US. You should be fine. But its just like dealing with any other used sales person.

tesla440, thanks for the reply. I just got back from WI with my new truck. The truck is in pretty good shape. It is an 06 Mega with a 6spd 4x4 SLT. They didn't move on the price one bit. I bought it for 33K and they gave me 33K for my trade. So it only cost me gas and tolls for the whole deal. Best part is i paid 31K for my truck in Dec, drove it for 9 months put 10k miles on it and made some money on it. If i were tohave bought the truck with out the trade i would have paid 2k in tax as well. So it was like my 31K investment in dec ended up being worth 35K for me! It is rare anything works out like that on any vehicle so i am happy. I look forward to have the 5.9 with the 6spd.

It's nice to see someone once in a while having things work out in their favor.

Can't wait to see the pix!
