I can get a great deal on some leather covers for my truck but the rear cover is not for a split bench. It's one long piece for the top and for the bottom. I have never even seen a rear seat like this in a 3rd gen Ram. Does it exist? Maybe in a ST model?

And if it does exist, does it still fold up and can I still use my fold flat storage?

Yeah, we had one in one of our work trucks, a ST model. I don't think it folded up or had and storage under it. Could be wrong on that part, but I know it had a solid seat.

I bet a good tailor shop could do something for you with the single piece.

I'm thinking that I could just bolt the two pieces of my current seat together on the bottom somehow with some flat steel. That way I could keep the folding seat AND the fold flat floor.

my 04.5 st has the bench seat, 1 piece back, 1 piece bottom. seat does fold up with storage underneath,

The leather seats I swapped in from an 08 is a 1 piece bench. Bottom folds up. I've heard that the fold flat floor won't work with the 1 piece bench seat. My truck didn't have the fold flat originally, so I don't know for sure if that's true as I've never tried putting one in.

Well, I don't use mine too often but it is nice having the option of the flat floor.

i think that the fold flat floor would work with some mod you would just need to put bolts in where the two piece seats bolt to the floor. I too have the single long seat in my 04.5 and have considered getting the fold flat floor the threaded holes for the split bench are there they are just covered

If I get these covers then maybe someone who is close would want to trade seats and make this a lot easier for me??? Mine is in perfect condition....

Well, I won the covers and got an awesome deal. Now I need to find me a one piece folding seat. I'll keep yours in mind w.tx iceman but I'm gonna try to find something locally first so I don't have to spend a fortune on shipping. So, who's got one close by that they would like to swap for my PRISTINE 60/40 seat????
