Any One With Stacks On The Outside Of The Bed???

ANY ONE WITH STACKS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BED???

I haul hay and grain and tarped loads ...stacks IN the Bed WON'T work...

So I was thinkin about a couple of 5' pete stacks on the outside of the bed

My truck IS a Dually so they would NOT be out further than the rear fenders anyway

CHIME IN WHAT DO YALL THINK ? ,Flip

just once I would like to see someone put forthe the effort to slide the bed back on the frame, say6 6 inches, to make room for 5 inch stacks between the bed and the body. prolly easier on the new flat frame trucks, but has to be possible on the rest of them.

there is a guy here in town with a white dually with 22.5 in wheels (8 to 10 lug conversion) and has stacks on the outside of the truck that are about 10 feet tall! I have to give it to him, he did a very nice install but it still looks like H#!!.

Stacks on the outside sticking straight up would look silly don't do it.

On the other hand I saw an '04 hotshotter QC Ram dually the other day ago at a truck stop and this guy had really cool stacks that ran alongside the bottom of his cab doors driver and passenger sides. Sort of like how you would mount nerf steps on one. And the exhaust was turned outwards. The only bad thing about it looked like he had some soot building up on his rear dually fenders but I thought it looked great and if I had a dually I'd probably run my exhaust like that.

That truck is built by Dominator Diesel Performance in Chubbuck, ID. It is a very good looking truck. Definitely somethign different from everything else out there and in a good way. I have a pic on my phone I will get posted here soon. . .

Alright, Here it is, I was thinking about this though. The stacks still come up through the bed floor.
