Only two recalls for the '03 that I know of, ECM flash update for the cruise control hang with the manual equipped trucks and one for the alloy wheels cracking.

There's a casting number or casting date on the inside of the rims. That's how you know if yours falls into the recalled ones. I'm not sure how they handle a recall 4 years after the fact. I guess if it's unsafe 4 years ago it's still unsafe now and they should fix any recalls for free.
Keep one thing in mind if you get the ECM reflashed, many times the truck runs different and even gets worse mileage. Many people refuse the reflashes for just that reason.
TSBs will probably not get done for free this long after they were issued...

Your wheels are likely fine. They caught that issue early on and did a 100% inventory inspection and swap out if needed. I bought my 03 in July of 2003 and the wheels were fine.

2003 also had a transmission cooler line recall. If this was not replaced in time (like mine) they also had to replace the cooler which is located on the engine block.

Hey I got the ECM flash for the cruise control and it is worse. It has been a year since the flash. Also I don't know if this happend to many others but my Lift Pump runs for 25 seconds to prime Every Time!!!!!!!!!! Since I had this flash. I told the tech to come out cause I was ****** and he said that sometimes other stuff comes with the flash. I am not saying it will happen to you but just beware. Aaron

Its probably posted somewhere but did they go to a different alternator bracket later in 03 or was it a problem the whole year?
