Any '08 Mega Cab deals?

Drove an '07 Mega yesterday and did get the juices flowin' . Are there any decent prices on '08's out there? Any difference between 07 & 08 ? I'm thinking the '08's will soon have big rebates the way this economy is going.

Dave Smith is the way to go. No one in my area would match them.

Appreciate it fellas. Id would rather deal locally, but if I can get a good deal outa state I'd look real hard at it. Calif has FU laws to suck blood from a disabled vet or anyone else when it comes to rereg. in Calif. Thanks for the referral, I will call Mr. Smith in Idaho.

Mike,I bought through Dave Smith(Les McDaniels) last Dec. They killed any other dealer here in San Diego. You pay your sales tax in San Diego upon arrival back here,no different than if you bought it here. Dave Smith charges you customary nominal charges,no different than here. All paperwork is mailed priority mail to you. Call Les McDaniel@1-800 -635-8000 x1302 They've got a huge supply. You can special order also. My second year reg. is still $440(ouch). That's $200 less than if Davis was still in office. Good luck. Dave Anderson

I called Dave Smith Dodge in Idaho. For an '08 3500 4x4 Mega loaded, they said their best is $44,764 (they said lists for $57k). Went online to Dodge's site and Dodge only lists it for $55k, don't know how D.S. got 57k. Sure would like to see closer to $40k + T&L. tax on it here in Calif. is over 8%. The only option I didn't list was backseat entertainement. May have to just wait until the rebates are higher (end of year?).

Go to http://www-5.dodge.com/vehsuite/DealerSearch.jsp

Type Kellogg and ID

Under Dave Smith Motors, hit View Inventory then use the pull downs. Find your truck or one close to it and pull up the Window sticker.

I've been talking to DSM too. They seem straight up to me. The stickers are always confusing as the options prices change from sticker to sticker... I don't for the life of me understand that. I'm not sure anyone does...

Anyway, the window sticker is what your gonna get your price based off of, not Dodge's website where you build your own.

Good Luck! I'm right there with you my friend.

Likewise DogRocket, I'm with you on the newbie and mechanical dunce part too.
Been pushin' pencils all my life since my southeast Asia vacation 40 yrs ago. I do NOT need a MegaCab (just the two of us), but I just want one...expect my kids and their famalies will want to borrow it with the trailer of 5th wheel. I'll again go to DSM web and see wuzhapnin.
