ANOTHER tire question - will they rub??
Ok - I'm trying to make a decision on buying new tires/wheels and I'm starting to get a headache from all the options.
Right now, I have 305/55R20 Toyo AT's on 20x9 Ultra Peacemakers. They have 5.75" backspacing and don't rub at all with stock suspension height (though they're close in a couple spots). I really want the new GoodYear DuraTracs in a 295/65R18 on 18x9 Eagle 187's. Those have 5" backspacing.
I have the Bushwacker pocket-style flares & I want the tires to fill them up (width) as much as possible, but I also don't want to put a leveling kit on it. The existing tires are (rated) 33.2" diameter, 12.4" width on a 9.5" rim; the new ones would be 33.1" diameter, 11.8" width on an 8.5" wheel. I think they'd be fairly close in both width & diameter when both on a 9" rim, but I'd still expect the 20's to be a little wider. Since I'd be losing 3/4" on backspacing, do you think it'd be likely that they'd rub? If so, what would be a recommendation for tires/wheels that would fit the flares, but not rub? I don't want to go with a true M/T, but something a little more aggressive than the Toyo AT's.
Sorry for the long post. Thank you in advance for helping put my mind at ease.

How 'bout this one - anyone running 295/70R17's on aftermarket wheels?
I know there are quite a few people running 295-70-17's, but I haven't found many who are running them with aftermarket wheels. If so, what backspacing do you have and are you running a leveling kit? If you don't have a leveling kit, do they rub?
