Alternator fluctuation

I was wondering if it is normal for my truck (04 RAM 3500 Diesel) to have the alternator fluctuating. I really notice it when the heater and lights are on.

Absolutely normal, especially when the heater grid is cycling.

Yup, those heaters take a whole lota more power than the ladies Hair Dryier does
