Alignment done with new steering setup
Everything is fine except for my ball joints. I knew I had some play especially on passenger side. The guy said they are pretty loose more than he sees normally on such a newer truck (2005). I told him the internet is littered with threads about guys needing ball joints much sooner than 55,000 miles. He seemed somewhat surprised.
So I had them give me a quote for upper and lower ball joints. $1067 total for labor and the four joints (Moog is what they recommended because of the lifetime warranty)...
So I guess I've got to start saving my pennies for joints and an EMS or Dynatrac hub replacement.
When does it end? if ever...

I took my truck for an alignment after I leveled it, was told the BJ's were all shot but that was just before my warranty was up so I went to the dealer for a check.
They told me the BJ's were "withing spec" and didn't need changing but they did change the axle u joints. You'd think they woulda done the BJ's at the same time and I woulda paid for it to be done if they'd told me since most of the work was already done.
Anyhow, point is who do you believe, the alignment shop or the dealer? My tires are wearing fine, no issues up front at all, no clunks etc.
When the time come's for BJ's though I'm doing it myself and will look at these Dynatrack BJ's
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...s-t251447.html
or these XRF ones:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...s-t251371.html
and I'll do the new front end parts like you did Trik, not sure what steering stabilizer I'll use.

Last time I rotated my tires I grabbed em and knew they were getting loose. At the alignment shop the tech showed me exactly where they were loose. It's very easy to see when someone else grabs the top and bottom of tires and gives em a shake when you're looking directly at the top ball joint. You can clearly see the play right there where it ain't supposed to be.
