It's been pretty cold here and last week my air vent seems to be stuck. No matter which position the switch is in only the dash vents work, no defrost or floor heat.

Anyone know what I need to look for to get this situation rectified?

There is a TSB on this.broken duct door.Tsb is being revised to a lower heater box housing.Could be in the control head but probably this vent door TSB.Numerous posts and threads on this.Do a search.

I did a search over a few different terms and I couldn't find anything on a TSB. I did see a post of yours asking about a updated heater box. By chance, can you point me to the TSB?

Since my truck is out of warrenty, I like to fix this myself, but if I have to take it in, I don't want the dealer replacing everything from the thermastate to the air box actuator.

It took me a bit to find it becuase it was listed under 2003 vehicles, but the TSB seems to apply to me.
