Where can I order the baldwins from and what am i looking at as far as price?

I currently use the fleetgaurd premium 7 micron. I'm happy with it but thinking of changing my interval to 10K miles so I could go with a better filter assuming it will get dirty more often.

I'm not able to cross reference baldwin PF7977 over to fleetgaurd. But is this the 5 micron unit I need?

Mopar fuel is 7 microns absolute... not sure on oil, but I am curious.

IIRC Mopar oil filter is just a standard paper media Fleetguard filter and not the better and higher cost Stratapore that uses synthetic media to filter the oil.

Fleetguard filters can also be bought at most any big rig shop that has a big C for Cummins sign. I do buy mine from Geno's. It's just so easy to order on-line and with diesel fuel at $3.19+ a gallon, who can afford to drive around shopping?

Yeah order them online if you are buying a few at a time, otherwise shipping costs add up, I believe Genos has a flat rate so.... gotta consider that.
