Air bags and factory overloads

Is there any need to keep the factory overloads that are on a 3500 if you are putting air bags in? Figuring on putting a minipack and air bags on.

If it was possible, my choice would be to keep the factory overloads on too. I like to spread out the extra weight as much as possible, especially in cases where the airbag is mounted outside the frame rail, instead of directly under it.

Definately leave the overloads. Bags aren't designed to support the entire load, just supplement the springs to gain back ride height. If you put too much air in the bags, the load will 'float' on the bags only and be most unpleasant to drive. (Don't ask how I know
