Aftermarket door handles
Anyone have personal experience with chrome or billet aftermarket door handles on your 3rd. gen? I want to get some but I want to make sure they work well before I buy them.

the chrome are just 3m stick ons. billet ones are spendy but they are nice until you are in a 110 degree day and it burns the heck out of your hand. did a set on a ford and they are nice though
thought about getting billet ones for mine and having them powdercoated black.

Thanks. I had not really considered the heat. Living in Texas you would think that it would have come to mind first. It does get really hot here. I want to buy some and have them powder coated with night chrome. I think it would look really good on my gray truck.

Thanks. I checked out LMC Truck's door handles and they are nice. Good price too. But they are chrome covered plastic so I don't think they would survive the oven at the powder coating shop. Maybe I can find someone to paint them in night chrome. I'll check it out. Thanks again!

I have putco covers and they not only look good I have not lost one. I did as above, made sure they were really clean and heated the door handles just prior to attaching them. Have 210,000 miles on them with no issues at all.

I have the allsales one, i think. Been quite some time.
I bought the polished aluminum ones. Then decided to get rid of the chrome. So I powder coated them. Been this was for 5 years or so now.
