ac fan

when i turn the ac on rather the fan is on high or low ibarely get any air blowing through the vents. i can hear the fan blowing and i can change the spped but for some reason its not coming out of the vents like it should be. any suggestions?

Most likely broken blend door.

To tell the difference between Blend door and Recirculation door issues, change it from Fresh to Recirc and see if you hear the door slam. If not, and there is no change in air movement, it is probably the Recirc door laying broken on top of the fan's air intake.

Short fix, remove fan with 3 screws under the passenger dash, by the floor. If the door doesn't fall out, reach in and take it out. You should be able to survive very well without it.

Long fix. Do a search on here and you will find a step by step dash removal to replace the door/motor/housing which should be a permanent fix. The part can be found at the dealer for about $14.

yep door was on top of fan. now door is in bottom of trash can. let my short hair blow in the artificial wind again.
