AC blower assembly wiring harness getting hot

I have a 2006 3500 and was on my way home tonight and noticed that the wiring harness going to the AC blower on the passengers side of the truck was hot enough to burn you if you touched it. It has seemed that the vent fan wasnt pushing enough air or that the air selector wasnt working right. Being that it sounds like the fan was blowing a lot of air buyt not coming out of the vents. Any chance these two are connected? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Sounds like you have a broken blend or recirc door if the air is not getting too your vents.
