I was just curious as to what some of the others running 47RE's with a DRW setup are getting on gas, oops, I said the G word, I mean diesel mileage. I have been getting about 15.5 on a constant basis or about 375 miles per tank. When I took a trip from KC to Indianapolis I got a wooping 18 MPG or 490 miles per tank. <br><br>For those guys who have been around diesels long is this number due to go up at all? Again, this is my first diesel. I'm at 11,000 miles. I know there are alot of factors when looking MPG, but I'm just curious to see if it will improve say around the 30 or 60K mark. Thanks!

 

Milage and power will do nothing but go up as time goes by. The one I just got rid of was just like yours except it had 4.10 gears and I got about 15-16 around town and stop and go. I got 18 a couple of times on the highway. Pulling heavy it would go down to 10-13. 8)
