Looks great! I'm assuming that you have to order a quantity of (2) on the partsamerica.com site, correct? How about the wiring? It looks like the ballast/igniter is built into the HID light housing itself.

Again..... excellent job and nice machine work! I wish I had access to a machine shop because the possibilities would be endless. We have a laser but no CNC machining tools/machines.

Yes, the item shown on the partsamerica.com site is just one light. So you will neeed to order two of them to replace both foglights.

The ballast is built into the lamp housing. I used a connector from a Bulbzilla kit to connect the HID lights to the factory wiring harness.

Excellent work, they look nice. I just hope they are not too bright for oncoming drivers. When I see those coming at me I flash my airplane landing lights on them. They get turned off immediately.

Any chance that you may have drawn up a template for the brackets that you could share with less talented among us as a PDF file? Thanks.

Any more updates? Is it better than the stock fog lights while driving?

These lights are AMAZING!! There is no comparison at all...they are way WAY brighter and offer far better illumination than the stock fogs. The beam pattern is excellent

The only downside is that they definitely cannot be used if there is any oncoming traffic.... way too bright and do not offer a sharp enough cut-off for that.

Just curious how those lights are working out, are they bright on the wet surface?

Thanks

They are just as good in the wet as they are dry. No glare at all, just lots of light. Zero complaints so far!

BTW, sorry it took me so long to reply to this... I had to wait until our first rain to test how they work on wet streets.
