3rd Gen 3500 lose some capacity

Howdy,

I was just looking around the Dodge website (granted not the best source of info on Dodge trucks! ) and I see there that 3500s have a max GVWR of 9,900 lbs.

Huh?!?!?!

I think that I remember when I bought my 2002 2500 that the then current 3500 could gross something like 12,000 lbs. I thought that big gap was the excuse for the SRW 3500 which is what I thought had a GVWR of 9,900 lbs.

Am I confused?

Thanks,
Tad
