3750 service

Who has had the 3750 service? Did anyone find any issues?

No issues. I would change the oil too. The motor during break-in will have a lot of metals & stuff you don't need. I was told by the dealer I did not need to bring it in for the 3750 since it was only checking stuff. Had an oil sample done @4000 just to see how the oil was. The Blackstone Labs reccomended to change it. So I did my 3750 at somewhere around 4200 miles. FYI.

I thought i remember a post sometime back the reason they recommend the 7k oil change was that from the factory there were other additives in to help
rings etc. seal.

I'm not sure about the 2006 but the 2004 owner's manual is very clear that the 3750 mile service is for the tree-hugging, gay, communist folks in the Peoples Republic of California (I suspect they are trying to reduce a small amount of emissions by changing out 3 gallons of oil).

Everyone else in the country gets to service their truck at 7,500 or 15,000 miles depending if schedule B or schedule A respectively.
