35 12.50 20 Toyo MT

Hey guys I am thinking about trying to fit 35 12.50 20 Toyo MT's on my mega cab but im not sure if they will fit the way the truck is now. I dont really want to lift it. It just has a 2" Leveling kit on it right now and I like the size of it but I just want a bigger tire. If the 35's wont fit with out a lift I might just go with the 33" Toyo's. I also plan on putting Bushwacker Pocket Style Flares on so there goes another 3/8" of clearance.

What's the backspacing on those Diamo's you have?

That will probably your determining factor...

Otherwise, they should fit fine!

I believe its a -10 offset. The tires only stick out about 2.5"'s past the fender. If they will fit then I would like to run the 35's and then lift it if I feel I need to.

Offset, I'm not so sure about...

Backspacing is measured something like this...

Picture is kinda bad, but you sorta can get the idea...

It helps to have someone either shoot the picture, or hold the tape measure...

I checked the back spacing on my Diamo's and they are 5.39". I was looking at some lifts today and I am kind of thinking about the fabtech 4.5" lift with the dirt logic coilover conversions. Maybe just running the lift on the front and leaving the rear stock to give it that prerunner sorta look. It would only sit up a little more then 2inches higher then it does now in the front. What do ya think? If the 35" Toyos will fit with just the leveling kit I have now with a little bit of rubbing then i'll leave it leveled but if its gonna be a problem shes gaining some alttitude.

With that kinda backspacing, I would suspect that you may get some rubbing of the upper control arms, at the worst, with the leveling kit...

But I think you should be ok...

The lift is not going to stop the rubbing of the control arms, if it does occur...

The wheels will be your determining factor...

Thanks guys I appreciate all the input. I was on the phone today with a customer service rep from Four Wheel Parts for about a half hour today and he swore up and down that the 35 12.50 20 Toyo Mt's woud fit without any rubbing. He said maybe a little on the front bumper valance and a little on the inner fender. Which I can deal with that. I will deffinetly be buying the 35's. Does anyone have any pictures of a truck running a leveling kit with the 35 12.50 20's?

CJJag are those a set of cooper stt's there buddy. Theres a tire shop here in town trying to get me to buy a set but they want $80 more then the toyos for the 33's. I havnt checked on the 35's though. I do remember Cooper having a nice road hazard warranty. I havnt heard anything on the Toyo's. Thats a Sharp looking truck.
