2wd front end lift

I have a 06 2wd and would like to raise the front end to be level with the rear. The only thing I have found are spacers up to 2 inches. Is their anything else out there.

I know there are 3" lift springs available, D25's I believe. I haven't heard of anyone using them on a 2WD, but I don't know why you couldn't. You may need to add a small block in the back though, because you may be nose high with 3" in the front. If you go with spacers, get the steel ones, I haven't heard of any problems with them.

And fill in your signature block so we all know what the particulars of your truck is. It's important info when asking questions about mods for your truck.

How much money are you looking to spend? There is a company out in Riverside/Temecula that did a coil-over conversion on a 3rd gen 2WD. I will see if I can find the info.

I was told if you go over 2 inch with a spacer kit, the control arm will be hitting the upper spring perch.

If you want to see what a 2wd looks with the 1.5 spacer kit........

smkn600CTD, is this your truck? If so let us know what system you used, how much, did you do it yourself and how long have you had it on the vehicle with what results.
I like it!

Yes, it's my truck.

Its a set of Daystar 1.5inch spacers. 4wheel parts has them for 75.00 bucks.
And that's it for the lift.

But if you have the stock shocks still, you might as well get yourself 4 new shocks too, because mine were wasted. I did the same lift on my friend's 05 with 20K miles........same thing...shocks wasted.

The install was not hard. Take off the shock, take off the brake caliper and unplug the front ABS sensor wire (if you have one). Get a jack under the control arm to take the load off of the ball joint, loosen the ball joint nut, and get a ball joint seperator (not the pickle fork style), it will pop loose, SLOOOOOWLY lower the jack, and take the spring out with the old isolator on top of the spring. Install the new spacer, and reverse the process and get it aligned.

I've had it for a little over a month, and love it. Its the best 75.00 bucks I've spent on it. It actually gives truck a "front suspension", it doesn't bottom out on the bump stops anymore.

Highly recommended!!!!
