295-70-17 Anyone with pics...
... of this tire size, specifically Nitto Terra Grapplers, on a stock height 4x4? Anyone have any negative experiences with this tire? A quick search turned up only positive comments and I'm leaning towards getting a set at this point.

My truck is nearly identical to Nitro's. Stock height MEGA with Toyo 295 MT's. The truck gets around in the snow great and looks even better!!!. Pulled a Chevy gasser out of the ditch today. Never even spun a tire!!! That was fun, I wish I would have taken a pic.
I took the stock Mich's off at about 1500 miles, those things were USELESS on bad roads.
The 295's have never rubbed but I do need to add fender flares, because they stick out just enough to through stuff up the side of the truck.

I've ran both the AT's and the MT's and the MPG loss was about the same on both tire types (about 1mpg on a 33inch tire compared to stock).
I personally like the MT's beter than the AT's. Next tires I buy will be Toyo's MT's again no questions about it.

as you see they fill out the wheel well nicely and only stick out about an inch or inch and half from body.....then i put on the Bushwhacker Extend-a-flares which are in between OEM and the next bunch...and it is perfect.
Some rear wheel well liners will finish it off i think. Might go to 305 or 315 but these are great compromise of versatility and mileage on the truck I though.

Sorry guys got busy yesterday,
No Rubbing what so ever, Can't make them rub.
For the type of tire they are, the are acutally pretty quite. There's a little noise that starts about 40mph, and carries the same DB until about 70mph. If you go faster than that, they actually start getting quiter. I hate noisy tires, and while these are nosier than the stockers, it's livable without being iratating / annoying on short or long trips.
I really love these tires. You will find the truck rides better with them, and they are awsome in the snow, sand, and mud.
The tires work great, and they are the best looking tire on the market right now IMO.
Hope this helps.

The Toyo website isn't showing a 295 anymore for the MT.
