2007 6 speed 2000 RPM =???MPH
I had a 1996 5 speed that went 70 MPH at 2000 RPM. My 07 3500 is supposed to have 3.73 diffs and with bigger wheels was supposed to run about the same as the 96 with 3.55's but.......it only goes 62 at 2000RPM. I hate it!!!. Those of you with 6 sp 3.73's experienceing the same speed?

welcome to the world of g56 the final drive ratio in 6th is lower than the old 6 speeds and with the exception of cab n chassis you can not get the 6 speed with 4.10s they will not build it It has been said that the final drive ratio in the 6 speed is the same as the autos with 4.10s

4x4 , 6 spd G56, 373's, Stock Tires, 2200rpms, 6th gear = 65mph.
Only trouble with 2200 RPM's @65mph is lower fule mileage. The sweet spot for mileage is between 1800 and 2000 rpms!
