2006 Sun visors Falling Apart - Replacement Options?
Anyone have experience replacing their sun visors?
Both sun visors in my truck are falling apart. The flexible outer edge has broken and the cloth covers are starting to sag on both visors. I use them every day to secure my sunshade which may be why they've broken down.
I looked at getting them rebuilt, but that's more expensive than new parts. I checked OEM prices on line, about $60 for the left side and $100 for the right.
I can get used OEMs ('06-'09) on line, but I'm worried they'll eventually fail as well.
I did see sets of the 4th gen visors on line and they look like they're made of a hard plastic so they won't fall apart. Does anyone know if they'll fit the 3rd gen trucks?

What did you ever end up going with? Do the 4th gen fit the 3rd gen sun visor?
