2006 Ram 3500 funkey Wipers
I see there is a lot of threads on wiper issues, this is what mine is doing.
Quit then started working.
Cycles 6 or more times when turned of.
Stoped in the uprigh location turned of and on several times the kinda works.
I see things from replace the wiper unit to Timer and then switch, it seams if it runs the wiper unit should be good not sure about Timer or what ever it is called.
Were is the timer located and does any one have a part # for it?
Any other Ideas?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Richard

There is actually more to the wiper motor than just running. There is a park switch inside it that will open and allow the motor to stop when the wipers arrive at the bottom of their travel, after they are switched off.
Not sure about your third gen truck but I have seen several second gen trucks with erratic wipers that wouldn't park, or would park in the middle of the windshield. The park switches were faulty, and a new wiper motor assembly fixed them up.
