2006 Dash Trim Replacement Kit

Is anybody making a trim kit replacement for the '06's?? I cant really decide if I like the plastic wood look. Was thinking a silver would look pretty cool. I haven't found any as of yet. Is it still too early for these????

I've been looking at them on e-bay. Seems to be a few different options - different colors, brushed aluminum, various colors of carbon fiber (which is what I want), and of course other flavors of wood. I've NEVER understood the wood thing in a vehicle..........I guess I just don't associate wood with a "machine".......but that's just me. Maybe if I'd been born a hundred or so years earlier I might get the concept????

Should have bought the Sport . No cheesy chrome, and no out of place wood trim.

You can have it painted any color you want. I went to my powder coater recently and they can now do aluminum and anodized finishes. Aluminum would look nice. Or you could just have it painted crinkle black to look like the insets around the heater controls. Although, powder coating might not be good for the plastic.

Thumbs up

You cant powder coat plastic. That process uses a small electric current to attract the powder to the part.
