2006 Blend doors-ECU?

Well folks, it's that time of the year again. My dash vents stopped working & it sounds like I have a major blockage in plenum. I was wondering if anyone has tried disconnecting their batteries for a while, then reconnecting & letting the ECU recalibrate everything. I hate to take it to the *******.

mine did it to me on a trip to San Antonio 3 weeks ago. i was not a happy camper. took it to the dealer to see what they said. i was almost positive it was the blend door. i told the service guy, "the a/c isnt blowing very well and on high there is a vibration. i think its the blend door" he said, "it will take about 3-4 hrs to fix and i know exactly what the problem is" then asked if i was ready to leave it. he never even looked at it. i guess this is quite the problem down here
