2004 weatherstripping
I own a 2004 3500 quad cab with about a 1000 miles on it. The driver's side door is pinching the weather stripping and has torn the rubber. The passenger side has rubbed the rubber but not yet torn. Anyone have experience dealing with DC on these kind of issues? Can I find TSB's online sonewhere?

Something aint right, you need to bring it back and have them fix it! While you there look at the other trucks and see what is the difference between them and yours. I have a 2003 and it has never done that, even wrecked the passenger door and never had anything like that happen. Best of luck! Please let us know what you do with it.

There is nothing wrong.... the door is not misaligned. That's exactly the way Chrysler engineered it. Looks to be specific to 04 models and up.

took mine to the dealer today (only 1700 miles on truck) they ordered a new part for the drivers door , but since the passenger side was not yet torn they will not replace it. told them that i rarely have a passenger and that is why it has not yet occured as yet--tsb only authorizes replacement if torn despite the fact they know its a problem. well, with a 7 year extended full coverage warranty i can wait them out

2004 Weather-stripping
Just dropped by the local dealer and they will order the parts with no problems. Hopefully after a change of weather-stripping and tweaking the door it will be fine.
