Because of another story, I'm in the middle of replacing the fuel tank on my truck.

Well I found I need the hockey puck fuel screen housing that goes on the bottom of the sending unit/fuel pick up assembly. Mine was clogged full of metal and crud. I think these were a 2003-2004 part only. Most have likely been dealer replaced by the in tank pump assembly. The dealers will only sell the complete assembly. To buy the whole thing is $$$.

Does anybody know if these screens were used on any other year/model Dodges or have a source for the screen puck?

I don't know the answer, but I think they are the same in all years. However, cleaning the one you have must be possible and it would be a lot less expensive.

I need one of these as well. Anyone know where they can be had? Mine has a tear in it so it must be replaced and I don't want to switch to an in tank pump.
