1st Gen Hood Ornament on 3rd Gen Truck

I was thinkin of puttin the Dodge Ram Hood Ornament from a 1st Gen truck on my 3rd Gen truck. The mounting place would be the same, front center of the hood. Does anyone have pics of this or heard of this being done? If so could you post, if youve already done it could you give any advice. I think this will look pretty neat but would like to see one first.

What is TO rednecky? Besides, the term redneck originated from Virgina, which by the way was named after a woman, . Maybe your right about the look though, I want to see a pic of it before I go drillin holes.

Get one and try some double sided tape. It won't take you too much time or cost too much money to see it makes your truck look rednecky or like you are from south of the border.

I would try it but the head has two prongs at the base that would prevent this. I was hoping someone had a pic of this or that someone has done this already.

Find someone good at photo-chop and send him some images. Should be able to get an idea of what it would look like.

Would it be TO Rednecky, just to try of course, to build up the bottom with some cardboard to make up for the tabs, then just use duct tape to secure it!!!

That ought to give SOME idea as to if it is to redneck!!

I have two from an ebay auction. I saved them for the paint job, then noticed the hood. Not the best of angles.

I saw one of these the other day driving to a transformer inspection. The old goat kinda had his head down a bit due to the angle of the hood.
