The truck is back and the kit is installed. The rear is about 2.50" - 2.75" taller than the front. Should be just enough rake for level towing.......The difference is subtle if your not familar with the truck, but I like it. 1.5" Daystar purchsed at 4 Wheel Parts. Pics in gallery.

Here is a updated and clearer pic of the leveling kit. Also with bushwaker street flares.

Any problems with getting it aligned? Do you notice a change in handling and steering? I may have to go ahead and drop my dime on them. (after the x-mas bills are paid). Did you add 1" in the rear? Let us know how it turns out with a load out back.

Thumbs up

The front end lifts looks good on ASHNBAK and Sevir trucks.
Does the front tires still track with the rears on the SRW? And with the 1.5" lift does it require a front end alignment?
Guess sometime in the near future I'll order the 1.5" lift for mine.

MikeyB Thanks. The truck did require an alignment, the tech said the toe was out. The tire angled inward.

yes, you do need a alignment when you get the 1.5"spacers. I didnt notice any change in driving at all.

I have not received a recall for front springs on my 05 could you elaborate on this a little more?

I guess we shouldn't say recall, it was a "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION". Some 2005 3500 4x2 pick up trucks (DRW) had the wrong front coil springs installed. If your's did, you would have received a letter from Daimler/Chrysler about four months ago. If your worried that you did not recieve the letter and should have, simply go to Dodge.com and click on OWNER SERVICES and then RECALLS and type in your VIN. Any recalls with noted for you. Additionally, the dealer will get a "pop up" when your truck is in for service, or they can check if you call.

I installed the 1.5 inch Daystar spacers on my 2wd Megacab this weekend and am a little disappointed. I measured from the top of the wheel to the lip of the fender before install at 5 inches and after install at 6 inches. So only 1 inch of lift - wish I would have went with the 2.5 inch spacers and got 2 inches of actual lift...

If I could get by with a 2wd truck, I'd lower the back and put air bags to level with a load.
