'08 Ram Megacab "resistol" Edition

Any of you Texas Boys see the Limited Edition "Resistol" Mega Cab at the Texas State Fair last month? Dodge had one on display and I was hoping to get some first hand opinions of what you saw in person. I know it will be an appx.$2800 option package and that there will be quite a few produced (even though it says limited edition). Me, well I'm a drugstore cowboy of course. I know Dodge will be shipping a lot of 'em to Texas for you "real" Cowboys, but light colored leather seats may look interesting with some road apple smears. Dark brown leather (like the king ranch ford) would be more practicle. For the drugstore types, the leather should be fine.

I searched and didn't come up with anything. I'd like to see some pics also.

You talkin about this truck? Not too bad on the exterior, but the seats were definitely out of touch with the real world.

The deal is, buy a "Resistol 20x Black Gold" cowboy hat for $50,000 and get a FREE '08 Megacab 6.7 4WD Duelly can't beat that. I heard that it should be available in SWD also.

Seen it, but IMHO.. its not even a truck anymore.. that fancy light colored leather would get MESSED up big time with ANY sort of "ranching" work. Leather in a truck designed to work never made sense to me.
But, thats just my thing I guess.

I think it's awesome as well. BTW, there ain't no real cowboys in TX. The real cowboys are in Wyoming.

its nice, but its just a two tone laramie, its nothing like the king ranch package where you get better leather, and other interior appointments that the other trucks dont offer

I dont like 2 tone....

a nice truck is what you want it to be though.... I use my 07 as the limo and for weekend trips. My 92 is my "cowboy" work truck. I am not going to use the new truck as a "work truck" until its old enough to get beater status.
