I don't care for the taillights.
I don't have any problems with the lights on my '03. They sure aren't as bright as our BMW's xenons but they have been fine. I guess my 20/25 vision helps.
I was not commenting on how bright the lights are. I was commenting on the shapeand size. Many vehicles out on the roads have good lights that aren't near that big a lens.

cheesy come on why are all the automakers obscessed with making these trucks look like 1950's rocket cars. Its a friggin truck should be tough not all whammsy with the trendy rocket lights. I think they are g*y and insecure on dodge's part as if they need to make the back look more "chevy".

I just got my 2007 a few weeks ago and have to say that I hate the new lights- how much do you want for your 04.5 takeoffs?

i like the new tail lights, seems to me when behind a truck with them the lighting appears more concentrated/brighter to me, i think anytime you are more visible it's a good thing.

"Heavy Duty" is a new badge design on the doors of the 07's. It has red and is combined with the 2500/3500 badge. I am sure someone can post a pick, I do not have one currently available.

Get ready to cut the OEM connectors off if you want 07 tails on your 06 or vice versa. The 07 connector is not the same as 03-06. If you don't mind that then go for it. This is just fyi so you don't get a bad surprise.

Styling concepts sold me some APC tails that I wanted really badly and they "fit all Dodge trucks 03-07". Well I found out different when they got here. Plugged right into my stepdad's 03 work truck. Had to cut-n-trace for mine but I liked those APCs a lot and they do look really sharp.

As an aside I had an interesting discussion with Styling "customer service" (that's what they call it) about that and another issue with the lights. And while I can say at least they've stopped listing these taillights for the 07 I cant say that I'll ever make another purchase from them.
