06 Hood Latch Hitting A/C Condenser
I have an 06 3500, bought new 5 months ago. Since day one the fins on the a/c condenser are bent where the hood latch operating rod contacts them. Doesn 't hit the tube, just the fins. Brought it up to the dealer the day I bought it, and was told it's under warranty, they had no problems, blah, blah, blah. I had to have it of course and bought it figuring you guys here would know something. Tried unsuccessfully to fix it myself. Went to dealer today about it, "Never heard about it, are you having drivability problems?" Of course they could not find anything on their computer. Anybody have the same issue? Anyone have TSB, or recall info on it? Thanks ahead of time, I know I'm not the only one.

Hood Latch Problem
Mike if you call grapevine chrysler jeep dodge in grapevine TX they know about the problem. They fixed it on my truck. There is a TSB out from dodge on the problem...There is also two other recalls out..One on ABS module and the other is on Roll over value hose...If you call Grapevine jeep chrysler dodge they can give you info on them...

My 06 is the same, saw it the first day I bought it, have straightened the fins of the condenser out many times.
I'll be getting a Kilby's condenser guard from Genos, those fins are just too vulnerable out in the open like that.
